Ernest will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bennett and June Bennett (Lindsey); his sisters, Carolyn Jane, Erma Dean and Joan Diane Deming; and his son Mark Allan Bennett.
He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Amett of Fennville, MI and Elaine Sims (Timothy) of St. Charles, MO.. He is also survived by two grandchildren: three great-grandchildren: four nieces and two nephews: six great-nieces and six great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
