He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Dianne Kirk (Anderson). He is survived by: his brother Jon Paul Kirk; his sister-in-law Alison of Carbondale; his sister Kathie (Mike Lorentz); his siblings' children, Gregory, Jamie Lorentz of Carterville, Danielle of Carbondale, Logan Jeralds of Carbondale and Paige Rose Kirk of Carbondale; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron Lingfelter and Lillian Lorentz of Carterville.
