With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Plumb of Carbondale, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Plumb and Marguerite Plumb; his brother Leslie "Porky"; his sister-in-law Patricia; his sister Jackie; and his niece Peggy-Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Monika; his children, Daelia Ayers (Jimmy) and Thara Lowndes (John); and his grandchildren, Jaden Ayers, Hannah Lowndes and Elliot Lowndes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
