He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Clarkson and Opal Clarkson (Copass); his brothers, Gerald Clarkson and Roger Sams; his brother-in-law Dana Soard; his son-in-law Tony Dimick; and his niece Tabitha Sams.
He is survived by: his wife Inge Dumberger; his children, Marion Moyers (Jason) of Marion, Sheila Dimick of Kingwood, Kathy Ramsey (Butch) of Palestine and James Clarkson (Nikki) of Mohamet; his grandchildren, Doniella Snyder, Christopher Warf, Kara Larson, Shon Clarkson, Chelsey Clarkson, Ariel Clarkson, Taylor Dimick and Sydney Dimick; and his siblings, Roy Clarkson (Sandy) of Tuscola and Debbie Cook (Steve) of Tuscola. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
