He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassan Elsaid and Olfat Elmogy; his brothers, Ahmed, Nazmy and Atef; and his sisters-in-law, Shams and Effat.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elsaid; his daughter Susanne; his granddaughter Emma; his brother Mohamed; his in-laws, Souad, Eglal, Michael, Barbara, Jeremy, Chris, Sue and Neil; and his nephews, Olfat, Fathey, Hassan, Maha, Ghada, Heba, Nahla, Khaled, Eahab, Abdel Moniem (Rebecca), Robert, Mairi and Ruairidh.
