She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Sanquist and Olive L. Sanquist (Goble); her spouse Herchel Pennington; and her siblings, Lulu Mae Voshell, Melvin Sanquist, Lloyd Sanquist and Spencer Sanquist.
She is survived by: her sister Lorraine Wahls. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
