It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Sue Shaffner (Carbondale, Illinois), who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John Chadwick. She is survived by: her daughters, Penny (William Burnside) and Kimberly (Michael Maddox); and her grandchildren, Nathanael Maddox and Kara Burnside.

Memorials may be made in Janet's name to Union Hill Christian Church or Rowan Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
