He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Phillips and Reba Blonn Phillips (Frey); his son Sean Evan Phillips; his siblings, Delores Page, Joyce Stanley and James Phillips; and his niece Carla.
He is survived by: his son Kyle Phillips (Ginger); his nieces and nephews, Natalie Walker (Chuck), Robin Beach, Jacque Hobbs, Randy and Rick Hilliard; his sisters-in-law, Pam Bennett (John) and Susan Daron (Steve); and his cousin Dorothy Nordmeyer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
