She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie G. Branan and Julia M. Middleton (Hughes); her husband George Whitehead; her son Christopher; and her stepfather Harold Middleton.
She is survived by: her son Jonathan Whitehead; her granddaughter Caylee Rae Whitehead of Carbondale; her sister Sandy Arnett (Greg) of Canton; her daughter-in-law Casey Rushing of Murphysboro; her sister-in-law Virginia Nussbaum of Eureka; and her pet Oreo.
