She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Brewer and Cora Brewer (Barr); her husband J. T. Chastain; her daughter Teresa Smith; and her siblings, Dorothy Gray, Lucille Chastain, Mary Lou Brewer, Lester and Floyd Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Betts of Guthrie, OK and Lauren Rader of Makanda; her son-in-law Bobby Smith of Carbondale; her grandchildren, Bobby Smith (Kylie), Salina Holloway (Brian), Robin Pritchett (Brent), Sam Betts (Beth) and Cecilia Rader; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Pritchett, Jaxon Smith, Jon Holloway, Matthew Pritchett, Carl Betts, Lillie Betts (Nick Dean) and Austin Wheaton; her great great grandchildren, David Bricker Dean and Rhett Wheaton; her nephew John Gray; and her niece Linda Chastain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or The National WWII Museum and will be accepted at the funeral home and cemetery.
