With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Grant of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta Grant to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Roe and Cynthia Roe (Provo); and her brothers, Carl Kestler (Corkey) and Everett "Butch" Roe. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Gentry (Jeff), Jimmy Grant and Coletta Grant; her grandchildren, Samantha Charles, Sydney Charles, Jimmy Grant, Jr., Novonna Grant and Montrell Neal; her great grandchild Arria Henderson; and her brother Larry Roe (Perry). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Dongola (106 NW Front St, Dongola, IL 62926). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the St. John's Cemetery. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dongola Community Center (105 Oak St, Dongola, IL 62926).
