It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Farmer of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Ellis and Mina Maxine Ellis (Shadowens); her husband Donald Farmer, Sr.; her children, Donald Farmer, Jr. and Crystal Owens; and her brothers, Bill Ellis and Ed Ellis.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Navarro; her grandchildren, Victory Maxine Navarro, Zethaniel Ezekial Navarro, Joshua Farmer, Hayden Farmer and Michael Farmer; her sister Janet Ellis Lee; her friends, Bridgett Reliford, Damien Miller and Jammie Sherrod; and her nephews, Mike Ellis, Cody Lee and Steven Lee.
