We announce the death of Matthew Borger of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 48. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Bryan Borger, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Sabra Frances Borger (Hayward). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Carbondale and/or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
