Krajewski of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Duluth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Krajewski and Florence Krajewski (Stephens); his brothers, James and Lawrence Krajewski; his sister-in-law Susan Krajewski; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Krajewski (Johnson).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Krajewski (Kirk); his children, Carey Krajewski (Roberta Christie), Sara Krajewski (Jeffery Fisher) and James Krajewski (Elizabeth Gillhouse); his grandchildren, Jennifer Christie (David Brown) and Robert Krajewski; his brother Robert Krajewski (Theresa); and his brother-in-law Robert Kirk (Maria).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (303 S Poplar St, Carbondale, IL 62901). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice, honoring the spirit of family and community that Walter cherished so dearly.
