He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Crawford and Ella Rae Bettis Crawford; his wife Patricia Lou Crawford; and his sisters, Josephine "Jo" Remling and Marge Tremaine.

He is survived by : his children, Cynthia McFarland (Dennis) and Stephen Crawford (Carol); his granddaughters, Stephanie Crawford and Katherine McFarland; and his great grandchild Malachi McFarland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends.
