She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schuman and Margie Schuman (McIlvain); her husband Mervyn L. "Merv" Hughes; and her brother Fred Schuman. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Emmons (Mike) of Carlinville, IL and Curt Hughes (Jennifer Gilmer) of Carlinville, IL; and her grandchildren, Katerina, Kristofer, Konnor Emmons, Kelsea Miller and Samantha Hughes. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
