He was predeceased by: his father Harold Herbert Harper; and his son Ryan Matthew Harper. He is survived by: his mother Lenora Arnold Harper (Cindy Harper) of Carlinville, IL; his children, Dustin Shea Harper of Elk View, WV and Megan Riane Harper of Carlinville, IL; his grandchildren, Keegan, Rylee Harper, Gene and Kori Schafer; and his siblings, Carol Harper of Radford, IL and Darrell Harper (Denise). He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home - Carlinville (260 Woodlawn Dr, Carlinville, IL 62626). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
