“Dear Mack family, I knew Delores through my grandmother Ethel Mayfield’s life partner Johnny Mack, Delores’s brother. Through him I was privileged to know the Mack family when I attended Blackburn College 1980-84. Bernadine was also very kind to me during my Blackburn years. After my grandmother’s passing in 2007 Delores and Bernadine opened their hearts and home to my family to mourn and gather after her services. Delores I will always remember admire as a kind and generous woman.”
