She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth R. Stayton and Pearl Anita Angelo Stayton; her husband Robert H. Klaus; and her siblings, Marcella Talley, Oella Fullington, Eldon'Jack'Stayton, Kenneth Stayton and Betty Leroy.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Robert McClatchey (Amber) of Wolcott and Bridget McClatchey of Chicago, Illinois.; and her brother Dean Stayton (Helen) of Carlinville, Illinois..
