He is survived by: his children, Kim Mehrkens (Mark) of Pontiac, IL and Andy Eldred of Carlinville, IL; his grandchildren, Alex Eldred (Brittany), Madalyn Leach (Caleb) and Seth Mehrkens; his great grandchildren, Avery, Kali, Bella and Cece; his sister-in-law Polly Eldred of Carlinville, IL.; and his nephews, Jeff and Jim Eldred.
