With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Best of Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Tetzlaff and Lillian Tetzlaff (Bouillon); and her brothers, Lloyd Charles, Gerald and Dean Tetzlaff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bev Neuhaus (Kurt) of Carlinville, IL, Marjie Best (Mark Alvarado) of Chicago, IL and Amy Rosentreter (Rick) of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Jaime Boswell (Stephen), Ryan Sexton (Margo), Logan Rosentreter (Beth Warden) and Lonny Rosentreter (Emma Ruffini); her great grandchildren, Ella, Marin, Mae, Hudson, Luca and Nolan; and her sister-in-law Mag Tetzlaff of Carlinville, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled, or to the Donor's Choice.
