She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Smith and Lois Smith (Coots); her husband John L. "Tink" McCaherty; and her son Richard Dayle McCaherty. She is survived by : her children, Sandra Sue Mansfield (Darrol) of Carlinville, IL, Clyde L. McCaherty (Cherlynn) of Springfield, IL and Jeanne McCaherty of Long Lake, MN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
