With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dylan Scott Burroughs of Carlock, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 18. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wayne Burroughs and Sharon Gibson; and his cousin Racheal. He is survived by: his parents, Mikeal Burroughs and Jaime Burroughs Carlock; his brothers, Ryan and Johnathon Burroughs of Carlock, IL; his grandparents, Roxie Burroughs of Bloomington, IL and Scott Gibson (Wendy) of Rock Falls, IL; his uncle Bryson Hayter of Bloomington, IL; his aunts, Michelle Baker (Scott) of Lexington, SC, Lori Hiatt of Bloomington, IL and Shelly Blan (John); his cousins, Tawnee and Blaze; his siblings' children, Tanner Burroughs of Carlock, IL and Stormy Burroughs of Carlock, IL; his cousins, Kayla, Amanda and Sarah; and his close friend Eli.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society of Central, IL.
