Phyllis’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Weaver and Charlotte Weaver (Chambers); and her brother Weylin B. "Wick" Weaver. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Lee "Jerry" Monical; and her children, Tamara Kaye "Tami" Monical of LeRoy, IL and Lee A. Monical (Delores) of Rocky Point, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor guard or Danvers Baptist Church., an organization close to Phyllis's heart.
