With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Satchwell of Carlock, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ommen Satchwell and Delores Satchwell. He is survived by : his wife Connie Satchwell; his daughters, Lauren Satchwell (Gerson Cobarrubia), Kristen Hartwig (Daniel) and Meredith Satchwell (Victoria Velazquez); his granddaughter Norah Hartwig; and his siblings, Larry Satchwell (Karen), Nancy Peak and Connie Johnson.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mennonite Church of Normal (805 S Cottage Ave, Normal, IL 61761). The inurnment was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ropp Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mennonite Church of Normal (805 S Cottage Ave, Normal, IL 61761).

Memorial contributions may be directed to Mennonite Church of Normal Student Mutual Aid Program or Menno Haven Camp & Retreat Center, Tiskilwa, IL.
