He was predeceased by: his father Donald Dieckmann; his brother Bob Dieckmann; his parents-in-law, Howard and Bernice Wessel; and his siblings-in-law, David Wilbur and Donna Wessel.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Dieckmann; his children, Ashley Butler (Chris) of Troy and Travis Dieckmann (Caitlin Mill) of Carlyle; his granddaughter Gracie Dieckmann; his stepgrandchildren, Aiden and Blaz Butler; his siblings, Missy Dieckmann of Carlyle and Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Wilbur of Texas, Janet Kumm (Michael) of Iowa and Ron Wessel of Centralia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials in honor of Brian may be made to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
