We are sad to announce that, on May 12, 2026, at the age of 65, Carmen Jansen (Carlyle, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carmen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Carmen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Leroy and Betty Leroy (Staton); her father-in-law Russel Singler; and her nephew Greg Bolton. She is survived by: her husband Gene Jansen; her sister Tammy Brink (Larry) of Highland; her mother-in-law Dee Singler of Huey; and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Newcomb (Jack) of Centralia, Gale Brink of Sandoval and Gary Jansen (Donna) of Huey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
