With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Wessel (Carlyle, Illinois), born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 41. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dale Wessel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his sister Danielle Wessel; his grandparents, Shirley, Arnie Wessel, Norma and Mark Stanton; his uncle Ricky Wessel; and his aunt Tammy Gentz.

He is survived by: his parents, Dale Richard Wessel (Jodi) of Carlyle and Lori Fearing (Stanton) of Centralia; his daughters, Jera and Dani Wessel of Centralia; his siblings, Melissa Wessel of Salem, Melinda Wessel of Centralia, Dustin Wessel of New Baden and Dylan Wessel of Carlyle; his nephews, Sean, Makaylah, Zachary, Andrew, David, Dallas, Lucas and Waylon; his great-niece Aurora; and his nephew Jaxxon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
