She was predeceased by: her father George "Mupps" Deien; her son Joseph Allen Deien; her granddaughter Lauren Kowalski; her siblings, Jim Deien, Melvin Deien, Margie Lammers, Robert Deien, Bonita Deien and Mary Elizabeth Deien; and her nephew Kurt Lammers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donetta Murphy (Steve) of Bonaire and Dawn Kendall (Robert) of Granite City; her grandchildren, Marissa Kowalski-Young (January), Joseph Kendall (Kalyn), Jacob Kendall and Joshua Kendall; and her siblings-in-law, Kenny Lammers of Breese, Carol Deien of St. Peters, Janet Deien of Breese and Linda Reynolds of Breese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to Hannah's Playground or to the donor's choice and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th Street, Breese, IL 62230, which is serving the family.
