It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Trevelline of Carlyle, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hacker and Ida (Van) of Bartelso; her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Robert Hacker, Edward Jr. (Joyce), Dolly Van Alst (Melvin), Joseph (June), Wilbur, Alvin and Richard (Marcella).
She is survived by: her sisters, Doris Tadlock (Bill) and Mary Kampwerth (John); her sons, Michael of Ohio and Eric of Missoula; and her grandchildren, Eric Jr., Joseph, Joaquine and Eleana. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
