He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Koehler and Barbara Brewer (Starr); his brother Phil Koehler; his father-in-law Thomas Wheelan; and his sister-in-law Jane Koehler.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Wheelan; his son Branden Koehler; his grandson Waylon Koehler; his brothers, Mike Koehler, Ken Koehler (Marilyn) and Rick Koehler; his mother-in-law Mabel Wheelan; and his in-laws, Melissa Koehler, Julia Wheelan, Jane Reitz (David), Ellen Wheelan and Laura Contrares (Casey). He is also survived by other relatives and good friends.
