He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Grapperhaus and Mary Grapperhaus (Alberternst); and his father-in-law Harry (Ruby Kleber). He is survived by: his wife Reva E. Kleber of Mary's Catholic Church; his brothers, Raymond Grapperhaus and Hank Grapperhaus (Jeanie); his sister-in-law Marcella Grapperhaus; his siblings, Del Kreke (Ray), Sally Benhoff (Benny), Johanna Laux (Herb), Gene Grapperhaus (Helen), Arnold, John Grapperhaus, Ben Grapperhaus and Larry Grapperhaus (Margie); and his in-laws, Cynthia Grapperhaus, Eddie Kleber (Jeanne) and Anthony "Corky" Kleber (Marie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations to Carlyle in Bloom, Christmas in Carlyle, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
