She was predeceased by: her parents, John Keller and Lucille Keller (Shirley); her husband Robert "Bob" Rainey; her son Michael Rainey; her great grandchildren, Anna and Kate Edler; her sisters, Mary Lou Kirk (Sam) and Johnetta Smart (Richard); and her father-in-law Homer.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Rainey (Patty) of Keyesport, Bob Rainey (Sallie) of Umatilla, Florida and Francie Voss (Randy) of Carlyle; her grandchildren, April Rainey, Amanda Rainey (Steve), Angie Rainey, Jonathan Rainey, Jordan Rainey (Claire), Lindsay Baldridge (Ben), Sarah Rainey (Tony), Brad Voss, Justin Voss (Chelsie), Kristen Edler (Josh) and Alex Voss (Ashlyn); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Haley, Katelyn, Krislyn, Shane, Shawna, Gage, Colin, Malcolm, Nicole, Kayla, Brayden, Rhyler, Zayne, Huxon, Anorah, Truett, Westley and Lexi.
Memorials made in memory of Shirley are suggested to the Carlyle First United Methodist Church or the Cedarhurst Activities Department and will be received at the church or at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
