We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 84, Verlin Lee Weidner of Carlyle, Illinois passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Weidner and Evelyn Weidner; his sons, Todd Weidner and Scott Weidner; and his brother Darrell Weidner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Weidner; his children, Gina Guinn (Steve), Stacey Burk, Jason Weidner (Tammy), Jennifer Magdich Kukla (Mike) and Aaron Magdich (Tina); the mother of his children Judy Weidner; and his uncle Marion (Shirley Mitan). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews; special aunt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Quail Club (8303 Concordia Church Rd, Belleville, IL 62223).
