He is survived by: his wife Dixie DeWitt of Carmi; his children, Brian DeWitt (Maggie Cochran) and Holly Russell (Chris) of Carmi; his granddaughters, Brenna and Braelyn Russell of Carmi; and his sister Betty Ray of Fairfield, IL..
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carmi Compassion Center and will be accepted at the church.
