He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Wilson and Turza Wilson (Downen); his son Steven Wayne Wilson; and his siblings, Fannie Spence, Alta Pottorff, Edna Fern Wilson and Clarence Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Bolerjack (Mayhue); his children, Stan Wilson (Judy) of Springfield, IL and Debra Chauncey (James) of Mt. Vernon, IL; his stepchildren, Lottie Lindsey (John) and Renaa Fleck (Kevin); his grandchildren, Leslie VanRiper (JR), Rachel Przewoznik (Justin), Cole Chauncey, Chase Chauncey, Jonnah Coffel (Tom), John Andrew "Andy" Hansman and Brandon Fleck (Sophie); and his sister Helen Doris Hampton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
