It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ray Blake of Carmi, Illinois, born in New Haven, Illinois, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Benny and Mae Bean; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Blake, Sherry Blake and Bob Leffingwell.

He is survived by : his children, Christina Blake (Richard Long) of Salem, IL, David and Crystal Blake Il; his grandson Zachary Blake; his pet Poochie; his brothers, Mark Blake and Floyd Blake; his stepbrother Raymond Harris (Rhonda) of Robards, KY; and his sister-in-law Charlene Leffingwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
