It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Hutchison of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Hutchison and Dortha Lee Hutchison (McArthy); and his grandson Aaron Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Hutchison of Carmi, IL; his children, Kay Bryant (C. A.) of Harrisburg, IL and Steve Hutchison of Carmi; his siblings, Charles Ray Hutchison, Katherine Jean Harrelson, Shirley Dean Mooney, Peggy Joy Denison (Jerry) and Garry Glen Hutchison; and his grandchildren, Cadence and Caden Burzynski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
