He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Rister of Carmi; his son Bryson; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Rister of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Preston Rister, Olivia Rister and Elliott Rister; his sister Melinda; and his brother-in-law Monty Applin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
