We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Henry Crites (Carmi, Illinois), born in Highland Park, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Larry Crites, Vickie Swartzentrover and Ellen Turner. He is survived by: his children, Christine Roberts (Ethan) of West Frankfort and Shelby Crites of Creal Springs; his granddaughter Eloise Finnley Roberts; his brother Cecil Gene Crites (Judy) of Belleville; and his nieces and nephews, James Swartzentrover, Nikki Vest, James Vest and Zach Crites.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts & Cook Funeral Service (101 Edgewood Ln, Carmi, IL 62821). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Roberts and Cook Funeral Service (101 Edgewood Ln, Carmi, IL 62821).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Christine Roberts toward an education fund for Eloise Roberts and will be accepted at the funeral home.
