He was predeceased by : his parents, James Albert and Julia Louise Walsh (Thomas); his wife Judy K. Francis; his son Trent Walsh; and his sister Julia Heberer.

He is survived by : his daughters, Chanda Kays (Kevin) of Evansville, IN and Carrie Redman (Doug) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Justin Kays (Madison Cox) of Carmi, Libby McGill (Matt) of Crossville, Lily (Luke Oskvarek) of Woodridge, IL and Katie Kays of Evansville, IN; his great grandchildren, Jona, Noah, Trenton McGill and Frank Keeling; and his siblings, Albert "Rusty" Walsh of Carmi and Joy Holloway of Michgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
