She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Brooks and Lois Marie Brooks (Bryant); her children, Starla Dinwiddie and Shawn Jones; her grandson Shawn Dale Jones; her siblings, Raymond "Joe" Brooks, Virginia Chapman, Carol Brooks and Fay Drone; and her brother-in-law Donald James.
She is survived by: her children, Billie Turner of Harrisburg and Derrick (Misty Jennings) of Carmi; her grandchildren, Jeremy Dwayne Jones (Jessica Barker), Joshua Jones (Kaitlyn), Nick Page, John Page, Angel Dinwiddie and Wyatt Jones; her great grandchildren, Maisie, Margo, Jaiden, Milo, Nauticy and Jaidie Jade; and her siblings, Dennis Brooks (Becky), Allen Brooks (Glenda), Steven Brooks, Marilyn James, Dorothy Brown and Betty Martin Wright (John).
