It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Faye Vangampler of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Carlos and Gladys Loretta Pryor (Bean); and her son Glen Arthur "Artie" Vangampler. She is survived by: her husband Glen L. Vangampler; her children, Glenna Potter (Ed) and Richard Vangampler; her grandchildren, Victoria Potter, John Garion (Amanda), Katherine Bushue (Levi), Joseph Vangampler and Sam Potter; her great grandchildren, Rayna Bernice and Ember Faye Garion; her sister Martha Towle (Denzil); and her sisters-in-law, Rose Kelly and June Vangampler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's memory to St Jude's Children's Hospital and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
