We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 86, Louise Melton of Carmi, Illinois, born in Herald, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucian Pyle and Norma Pyle (Williams); and her siblings, Charles, Jimmy Pyle, Alma McDaniel and Margie Fromm.

She is survived by : her daughters, Parry Merritt of Schaumburg, Barb Henson (Dennis) of Crossville, Janis Abell (Mark) of Ridgway and Mary Ianniello (Paul) of Phoenix, Arizona; her grandchildren, Mike Merritt (Elizabeth), Melisssa Behrend (Chris), Candice Masterson, Tiffani Fisk, Lisa Risley (Chris) and Matthew Abell (Christine); and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Joey, Hannah, Cole, Derek, Andi, Nolan, Eva, Madison, Dylan, Alex and Lara.
