With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Minnie Quanna Newman of Carmi, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gish and Eva Mae Gish; and her husband Charles Alvin Newman. She is survived by: her children, Bill Newman (Mariah) of Carmi, Rita Trabant of Carmi and Rada Turner of Carmi; and her siblings, Bobby, Ronnie, James, Rocky, Georgia, Nancy, Cindy and Penny. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
