He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther B. Adams and Rosa Adams (Bates); his wife Wilhelmina Usery; his daughter-in-law Francis Adams; his siblings, William Adams, Luther "Sparky" Adams, Max Adams, Hubert "Shorty" Adams, Irene Moore, Rosalee Bloomer, Katherine Upton, Audria Silverman and Evelyn Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Usery, Doyle and Malen Daniel.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hale (Roger) of Fairfield, IL, Cynthia Rose Murphy of Breman, IN and Russell Gene Adams of Gardner, KS; and his sister-in-law Peggy Usery. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Buck's memory to the Carmi Compassion Center and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home or by mail to 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
