He is survived by: his wife Sharon Samson; his children, Alden Ray Hutchison (Sarah Nicole Dudan) and Amy Danielle Degenhardt (Craig Carter); his grandchildren, Sophia, Peter, Ava Hutchison, Elias and Madison Degenhardt; his brother Mark Russell Smithpeters; his pet Boomer; and also, Mary Hutchison and Jeff Degenhardt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roberts & Cook Funeral Service (101 Edgewood Ln, Carmi, IL 62821). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
