In the vast expanse of eternity, Edwin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edwin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Ted" and Anne; and his brother Peter Lane (Lorraine). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Ted (Lisa) and Jamie (Inez); and his grandchildren, Kyra Lane, Jordan Carbonell (Michael), Marissa Lane and Evan Lane (Bri).
