With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert E. Clauson of Carol Stream, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric Clauson and Marie Clauson; and his son John. He is survived by : his wife Elaine Selin; his sons, Andrew Clauson (Juliana) of Chicago, Nils Clauson (Erika) of Fridley, MN and David Clauson (Angela Darrow) of McMinnville, OR; his daughter-in-law Deanna Clauson; his grandchildren, Noah, Ella, Matias, Lucas, Maya, Kai, Sebas and Eva; and his sister Florence Lindstrom Morrison of Arlington Heights, IL.. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived, including the grace he exhibited as he lived with Parkinson's disease for two decades.
