She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nelson and Cora Nelson; and her sisters, Gloria Nelson, Carol Thompson (late Dwight) and Georgia Kindall (late Jerry).

She is survived by: her husband Swede Marvin Johnson; her children, Karna Chrusciel (Russ), Matt Johnson (late Charmaine) and Bjorn Johnson (Heather); her grandchildren, Emma, Annika, Sadie, Lucy Chrusciel, Hunter and Brock Johnson; and her brother Mark Nelson (Sherrill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
